Optical Wavelength Division Power Meter

Optical power meters with wavelength division function can simultaneously measure optical power and wavelength across multiple channels, making them ideal for WDM and laser testing applications.

Overview

An optical power meter (OPM) measures the power of optical signals, typically in fiber optic systems, using a calibrated photodiode sensor and display unit.

Standard OP

Ms require the user to set the wavelength manually, and their readings are wavelength-dependent, which can be limiting in multi-wavelength systems. Advanced meters with wavelength division functionality overcome this by automatically detecting and measuring multiple wavelengths simultaneously.
