Installation of distribution box foundation channel steel

A distribution box can be securely installed on foundation channel steel by aligning, bolting, and grounding each cabinet panel according to construction specifications.

Placement and Alignment

The distribution cabinet should be positioned on the foundation channel steel according to the construction layout drawings. Verticality and levelness of each cabinet panel must be adjusted using pad irons, but no more than three pieces should be used, and they must be welded firmly if necessary. Securing the Cabinet

Once the cabinet is properly aligned, fasten the cabinet body to the foundation channel steel using bolts. Ensure that all bolts are tightened securely to prevent movement. Electrical Connections

After mechanical installation, connect the bus bars at the top of the cabinet using the appropriate bus matching wrench. Apply neutral Vaseline to contact surfaces to ensure good electrical contact. Safety and Compliance

Ensure that the distribution box is suitable for the environment (indoor or outdoor) and meets the required IP or NEMA protection ratings.
