Mesh-type cable tray specifications

Mesh-type cable trays are high-strength, ventilated wire-mesh systems designed for flexible cable management, available in various widths, depths, materials, and finishes suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.

Materials and Finishes

Mesh cable trays are typically made from steel wire mesh, with options including Q235 steel, SS304, SS316 stainless steel, and aluminum depending on environmental requirements. Corrosion protection is provided through electro zinc plating for indoor use, hot-dip galvanization for outdoor use, or electrolytic polishing for stainless steel applications. Aluminum trays offer natural corrosion resistance due to a protective oxide layer.

Dimensions

Standard widths: 1. 5, 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, 16, 18, 20, and 24 inches (38–610 mm)Standard depths: 1, 2, and 4 inches (25–100 mm)Standard lengths: Approximately 10 feet (118 inches / 3 m) Custom sizes can be manufactured according to project requirements.

Load Capacity and Temperature

Mesh trays are designed for high load capacity while maintaining excellent ventilation for cables. They can safely operate in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +150°C, depending on material and finish.

Design Features

Ventilated wire mesh allows easy cable insertion and exit in multiple directions. Bending and branching are facilitated by separable wires and flexible mesh design. Safe-T-Edge design protects installers from sharp edges and prevents cable fraying.

Magic connector systems or similar patented connectors enable quick assembly and secure connections.

Compliance and Standards

Mesh cable trays comply with NEMA VE-1, CSA C22. 2 No. 126, RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU, and other regional standards.

They are suitable for telecommunication, fiber optic, and power cable installations.

Installation

Trays can be mounted using trapeze, wall, floor, or channel supports, with recommended support spans of 2. 5 meters for straight sections. Accessories such as bends, risers, T-junctions, crosses, and reducers are available to accommodate complex routing.

Mesh-type cable trays provide a versatile, durable, and safe solution for cable management in industrial, commercial, and data center environments, combining structural strength with excellent ventilation and ease of installation.
