Reasonable prices for cable trays in Singapore

Cable tray prices in Singapore vary widely depending on material, size, duty rating, and coating, typically ranging from SGD 50 to over SGD 500 per meter for industrial-grade trays.

Factors Affecting Cable Tray Pricing

Material: Cable trays are commonly made from mild steel, stainless steel (SS304, SS316, SS316L), aluminum, or epoxy-coated steel. Stainless steel and aluminum trays are more expensive due to corrosion resistance and durability. Duty Rating: Trays are classified as light, medium, heavy, or super heavy duty, with load capacities from 13mm to 100mm and above.

Higher duty trays designed for industrial or data center use cost more. Construction Type: Options include perforated, solid-bottom, ladder, or wire mesh trays. Ladder and wire mesh trays are often more expensive due to manufacturing complexity.

Coating and Finish: Hot-dipped galvanised, epoxy powder-coated, or ZAM (zinc-aluminium-magnesium) coatings increase resistance to corrosion but also raise costs. Size and Accessories: Wider or deeper trays, along with covers, tees, elbows, and joint plates, add to the total price.
